Emilie Kao, J.D. is Senior Counsel and Vice-President of Advocacy Strategy at Alliance Defending Freedom. She is a Visiting Fellow for the Heritage Foundation’s Richard and Helen DeVos Center for Life, Religion, and Family and is a national authority on religious freedom. Emilie earned her Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School. She is a member of the Supreme Court Bar and the bar associations of California and the District of Columbia.
